What do Australians do on Christmas?

When you think of Christmas, most people think of snow falling, a roasting fire and mistletoe, but what about if it's scorching hot outside? This is just a little taste of what my family likes to do on Christmas Day! Sorry it's a little bit manic, but Christmas is a hectic day so it's hard to make sense of it.
A lot of family like to go to the beach, or swim in a pool on Christmas, but we didn't get the chance to this year :(
