750MC Hot Hatch 2018 Pembrey Race 1

Race 1 was the result of a lot of poor planning, but hey, makes for a fun race though!

The morning I had booked a practice session as I've never seen Pembrey before so got to grips with it and set a lap time that would of had pole easy. However, quali was right after practice and I decided in the few minutes to swap the brake pads for new ones and I assumed I had more than enough fuel as the tank was brimmed.
How wrong I was!
I got one out lap and then the thing ran out of fuel, doh!
The race then was called 15 mins early and I got caught out and barely made the assembly for the grid!
Starting from the back of the grid meant I had to chase up steve and unfortunately having green pads meant the brakes were a bit crap during the race and the high temps of a glorious summer weekend meant the tyres just couldn't take the abuse and became a serious limitation.
I was catching slowly but made a mistake and that was that.
Still, good fun and great motivation for the next race!
