A Review of the Indie Open World Game PINE, released in 2019, and available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Footage is taken from my twitch stream hence my face staring blankly throughout the video.
I played through this game in July of 2020 and thought the game was interesting enough to review, with it's unique animal village systems, typical collectables, and concise length, despite it's obvious shortcomings in the form of bugs and shallow content elsewhere. The developers of this game, Twirlbound, cite inspiration from traditional Zelda, Shadow of Mordor, and Fable. I felt it was most similar to Ubisoft's Far Cry entries. The game's Kickstarter shows more potential and ideas that Twirlbound has.
