In addition to the desire of the PEUGEOT brand to accompany each new launch of an electrified version, the new PEUGEOT 508 HYBRID and 508 SW HYBRID have just passed the certification tests under the new WLTP protocol with impressive results:
 508 HYBRID: 29g(1) of CO₂/km (1,3L /100km) and 54 km of autonomy(2) in 100% electric mode.
 508 SW HYBRID: 30g(3) of CO₂/km (1,3L /100km) and 52 km of autonomy(4) in 100% electric mode.
By offering this new PLUG-IN HYBRID range with a power equivalent to 225 hp/165 kW and with the best CO₂ emissions on the hybrid market, PEUGEOT is strengthening its electric strategy with dynamically efficient vehicles, for a smooth energy transition.
With this offer, PEUGEOT wishes to offer a total cost of ownership and comparable use between internal combustion vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The new PEUGEOT 508 HYBRID and 508 SW HYBRID are already open for orders in France and will be by the end of the year in the other marketing countries. These innovative engines will reinforce the leadership of the new PEUGEOT 508, which lead the segment sales in France since the beginning of the year.

Because offering an exciting driving experience is part of the PEUGEOT brand's DNA, the new PEUGEOT PLUG-IN HYBRID engines provide reinvented pleasure. The result is a range of new sensations with an unparalleled brilliance, thanks in particular to new driving modes.
Each driving mode is exclusive and opens up different experiences:
 Silence of the ELECTRIC mode, 100% electric!
 Exhilarating performance of the SPORT mode that rallies all energies,
 Versatility of the HYBRID mode,
 COMFORT mode which combines the HYBRID mode with the comfort of the controlled suspension.

The new PEUGEOT 508 HYBRID and 508 SW HYBRID combine the 180 hp (or 132kW) PureTech engine with a 110 hp (or 80kW) electric motor for a maximum combined power of 225 hp (or 165kW), in traction.
The HYBRID engine deployed on the new PEUGEOT 508 and 508 SW has been designed to offer even more sensations. It optimizes its operating costs thanks to an efficiency at the best level of the hybrid market and with C0₂ emissions at 29g of C0₂/km WLTP.
With the PEUGEOT 508 HYBRID and 508 SW HYBRID, the ownership and usage costs are comparable between a BlueHDi 130 EAT8 engine and a plug-in hybrid version (depending on applicable taxes). For companies, this cost is calculated on the assumption of 30,000km per year with a driving rate of 65% in hybrid mode and 35% in 100% electric. For private individuals, the calculation is based on an assumption of 15,000km per year with a 50/50 split between hybrid and 100% electric driving.
The battery offers a capacity of 11.8kWh, providing a 100% electric range of 54 kilometres(1) WLTP on the sedan and 52 kilometres(4) on the SW version. Recharging takes less than 1h45 with a Wallbox (optional 7.4 kW charger, 32A).
The installation of the powertrain and batteries was carried out uncompromisingly thanks to the EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) multi-energy platform. The spaciousness is maintained and the boot volumes over the carpet are identical to the ICE versions.

This offer can be broken down into mainly 3 finishes:
- Allure (and Allure Business): ultra-equipped mid-range offer,
- GT Line, with dynamic typing,
- GT, the top-of-the-range car with an exclusive presentation, which comes with a brand new Alcantara® Greval Grey upholstery as standard.
