What makes where we live, our home? Where we feel we belong, where we're accepted as is. Where we can finally stop being adrift and come to rest. I spent most of my life feeling disconnected to where I was & lacking belonging & acceptance. We usually try to deal with this on a physical level, and surely that helps, but truly, things go deeper than that. And it's not just about living with family, as sad as it may be to acknowledge that.
