After law school and the bar exam comes the hard part, trying to find an attorney job and/or possibly starting a law practice, maybe solo. Six years after I graduated from Georgetown law school, paychecks were bouncing at the law firm, and I could not find a better attorney position. So like many J.D.s, I became a solo practitioner, making peanuts. Sitting around the living room waiting for paying clients wasn't working, so I even taught the LSAT and SAT, making from $7.50 - $22/hour, to make some bucks. In this video, I tell you my secrets to legal success, how to get paying clients, and how to network properly and fruitfully. You will also hear a little about my first North Carolina Superior Court bench trial and first Superior Court jury trial.
