Hey everyone!
Firstly, please excuse my delay in getting this video to you. Sometimes you need to let a word marinate in your spirit…and then some.
Secondly, please further excuse my voice. Word to the wise…try to avoid sleeping with the A/C or a fan on. 😅

Here’s a few take away points to reflect on from this video?
1. How do you respond when faced with affliction?
What I learnt from King Hezekiah (in Kings 20:1-6) is that he did not question Isaiah who was simply delivering a message, nor did he ask God why this had happened to him. His immediate response was to take it to God in prayer. Reminding Him of how he had faithfully served Him from the age of 25, when he became king.
Then he cried!!! See we’ve been getting the order wrong. Pray first…then cry 🙆🏽♀️
By the way, why do we cry first, then pray? Perhaps this is just our natural human response to fear?
I have failed so many times when it comes to my initial reaction when faced with bad news, but I have gotten much better, particularly in the past year. I have realised that it’s about perspective!
You have to build up your faith to the point that fear is crippled!
Your faith can only be built up if the Word of God is at the centre of your heart and dripping off your lips.
The bible says that death & life is in the power of the tongue, so either you are speaking life or you are speaking death. Are you ready to bare the consequences of your words???
Let’s learn to constantly speak the Truth and not the facts. The fact is that you may be having a hard time dealing with some stuff. The Truth is that God is good and He is too faithful to fail.
