Parrot Anafi, 1km Altitude Flight & Tips [4K]

The latest firmware update has removed the altitude limit of 150m. I have successfully flown my Anafi to 1000m above ground and would like to share some tips here:

Adjust to a faster ascending speed of 3m/s. That will be using the battery power more efficiently to reach high altitude in a shorter time. I did not use the max of 4m/s as I worry about that will overload the motors to cause free fall.

Signal range is also key here. Fly from somewhere with minimum interference. I did find 5G wifi offers more stable connection up to 500m high. But then the signal strength attenuates pretty quickly above that height. It is very weak at around 800m. I was hanging to the last bar until my 1km target. It is important to maintain some horizontal distance larger than 500m for better signal reception. The drone cannot connect well right above the controller.

最新firmware解除了150m限高，換言之，可以飛到幾高就取決於電量與訊號覆蓋距離，經過兩次試驗，成功突破1000米高度（手動飛行），想分享一下小小經驗：

最初用1.5m/s爬升速度，但發覺花太多時間，50%電只能夠上到大約700-800m，之後改用3m/s，用了40%電已經上到1000m，照道理用極速4m/s可以更快更省電，但擔心長時間用極速會引至motor overload而炸機；訊號方面，測試地方在某山頂，零干擾，試過2.4G但上到164m已經斷線，改用5G反而較穏定，上到500m仍然full bar，但800m以上已經十分弱，注意一定要保持500m以上水平距離，天線接收角度更好，如果在正上方接收最差。

現實上一般拍攝300-500m已經好足夠，絕少需要上到1km，餘下嘅電量亦拍不到甚麼好片；以上只係實驗，希望幫到大家了解Anafi的能力。
