ROME VLOG - PART 1 | Hotel tour, dreamy Airbnb in Rome, food shopping + restaurants -- Rome, Italy.

Our trip to Rome starting at our first stop, The Hoxton Hotel near Villa Borghese (the park) where we stay for our first night. See our full room tour of the "Cosy Up" size room (pr discount). Then after staying for our first night, we check into our absolutely gorgeous Airbnb (linked below) with a full kitchen, parquet floors, balcony and the most stunning all marble bathroom.

After checking in to the Airbnb, we headed out to grab a coffee and go for our two hour walking tour that I booked through Airbnb experiences in Rome. As per @whatstormeats (check out her IG) recommendation, for dinner we went to eat at Mimi e Coco which was super cute and vibey. We sat outside, drank wine and beer, and ordered caprese, cacio e pepe and the most divine meatballs. After dinner, we headed back to our Airbnb to catch up on Inventing Anna.

On our second full day, we made the trip to Campo di Fiori market (which is actually about a 5 min walk from the Airbnb) and grabbed some essentials, as well as stopping at a Carrefour (local supermarket chain) for a few more food items. I unpacked everything and showed you what we got -- spoiler alert, one of the items was the most incredible truffle salami! We grabbed some pizzette & focaccia at Roscioli Antico Forno because the lines were so long to get brunch anywhere. Lunch was at Nonna Betta - just around the corner from the Airbnb. We had Jewish style artichoke, zucchini carbonara and Josh ordered a classic lasagne. After waiting ages for the bill, we went back to the Airbnb to chill for a sec before walking to Trastevere and The Vatican (coming in Part 2 of the Rome Vlog, will be live tomorrow evening).
