How to Create a Self-Playing Patch: Make Noise 0-Coast Tutorial/Demo

The Make Noise 0-Coast is a West-Coast-inspired powerhouse, but did you know it can perform entirely on its own? In this video, I walk you through the process of building a self-playing generative patch from scratch.

We start with a blank slate and patch the 0-Coast to create its own rhythms and melodies without any external input or clock. Once the foundation is set, I introduce the Hikari CV Controller to add organic, hands-on modulation to the parameters, turning the patch into a living performance.

In this video, I cover:
• Setting up the initial feedback loops for "self-triggering."
• Utilizing the Slope and Contour circuits as rhythmic sources.
• Randomness and chaos using the Voltage Processor.
• Integrating the Hikari CV Controller for expressive modulation.
• Live performance and sound design tips.
