If you’ve been on Upwork for a while, you’re probably getting a lot of invites to job interviews. Currently, I get over 30 invitations a week!

Not all of them are a good fit, though….

You’ve probably been in this situation before, in which:

- The project looks great
- The client has a solid reputation and great reviews
- They have spent a lot of money
- The client is very experienced on Upwork

BUT…

The deadline for the job is too short!

Or, for some reason, you can’t apply for that job at the moment.

Most freelancers simply decline Upwork interviews when they’re NOT a good fit. If you happen to do that as well, STOP!

Today, I’ll share with you what I do instead of declining Upwork interviews that are not a good fit.

It’s a simple technique that has worked EXTREMELY well for me. I’ve had clients coming back after 18 months!
