Easter Egg Part 2/3 Dahlia Paper Flower/ DIY NelliCraft/ Декор для Памха

Hello everyone,

In this video I will show you how to make Easter Egg decoration with some paper tubes and colorful crepe paper flowers. THE FULL TUTORIAL IS DIVIDED INTO 3 PART, SO ALL OF THEM COME INDIVIDUAL VIDEOS. It can part of your Easter home decor, with its vivid colors matches with spring decoration too. Materials I used: Italian crepe paper (180gr), wire, hot glue, PVA glue, tissue, cotton wool.
Present video (part2/3) is on how to make dahlia flower and bud. Crepe papers we need: Cream (No: 577), Water Green (No: 566), Leaf Green (No: 591).
DAHLIA FLOWER
Smallest petals (No: 577) - 3 cm wide and 20 cm long
- cut thin petals as shown
- shrink them
Medium petals (No: 577) - 4 cm wide and 20 cm long
- fold in half
- cut petals as shown
- stretch each petals
- shrink them
Large petals (No: 577) - 7 cm wide and 20 cm long
- fold in half
- cut petals as shown
- stretch each petals
- shrink them
Sepal (No: 591) - 3 cm wide and 10 cm long
Stick a small ball of tissue paper on top of the wire. Gather the smallest petals and stick them on top of the tissue ball. Then take the medium sized petals and stick them around the small ones in spiral form. Finally, stick the large petals around the previous ones in spiral. Stick the sepal under all of the petals, to close the bottom part of the flower. Cover the rest of the wire with floral tape or crepe paper flower strip.
DAHLIA BUD
Petal 1 (No: 577) - 3 cm wide and 20 cm long
- cut thin petals
- stretch in middle
Petal 2 (No: 566) - 3 cm wide and 10 cm long
- cut and stretch the same way as petal 1
Sepal (No: 591) -3 cm wide and 10 cm long
Take a small ball of tissue paper and stick it on top of the wire. Stick petal 1 on the tissue ball, covering it and overlapping the previous row of the petals. Following by petal 2 the same way. Then close the bottom part with the sepal.
DAHLIA LEAF
for the leaf of the dahlia we need a 5 cm wide and 7 cm long rectangular (No: 591). Cut and stick them as shown in the video. In this project I do not need long spring of leaves, but if you use them in other project, you can stick them on a wire or wooden stick and cover the base with floral tape or green crepe paper, so you can easily use them in bouquets or any other bigger projects.
