The Sheep Detectives ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the year for me. What starts as a goofy comedy about sheep solving a murder mystery slowly becomes a genuinely heartfelt story about grief, friendship, and community.

In this review, I talk about the humor, mystery elements, voice performances, emotional themes, and why this movie works for both kids and adults. Between the clever writing, charming animation, and surprisingly emotional moments, The Sheep Detectives has way more depth than I expected going in.

This might end up becoming a real hidden gem family movie.
