Four Male Lion nearby Punda Maria at a recent buffalo kill. 6 October 2021

On our way from Shingwedzi to Punda Maria on the main road, we came across a buffalo kill. But there was no sign of lions and no scavengers so we moved on, only to return later and we found four male lions close to the carcass. they were fully fed and was in great condition.

So passersby told us that they killed two buffalo in the same area in consecutive days.

They are a promising force to the residential pride in the area as they are still relatively young lions.
