It’s Season 5 of Talk 122 — and we’re starting strong! Superintendent Dr. Terrell Yarbrough sits down with Harlem High School students Sierra Van Laeke and Gabriel Coletta to talk about their incredible opportunity to perform with the legendary rock band Foreigner. Plus, Choir Director Jeremy Toledo shares how Harlem’s music program made it all happen and what the experience meant for students and staff alike.

In part two, Dr. Yarbrough welcomes back Mary McNamara Bernsten, Executive Director of the Rockford Area Arts Council, to discuss the brand-new Rockford Area Culture Plan, local collaborations, and how art is building a stronger, more connected community.
