Mono-printing techniques with fast drying alkyd oil paint

Mono-printing with fast drying alkyd oil paint

Filmed in real time with edits to allow for drying.

This paint has a very different feel to conventional oil paint, it feels more like printing ink, it does dry very fast and has a flat surface when finished. Mono-printing with this paint allows for the building up of layers and I would recommend having a try for yourself. Although the compositions shown feature 2 colours, you could begin with monochrome to get used to the paint.
