Apple Pie Float Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
-equal parts apple juice
-equal parts apple cider
-2-3 cinnamon sticks
-condensed milk
-graham crackers
-apple slice for garnish
-caramel apple gelato (I used the Talenti brand)
Homemade Chili Recipe
-1C black beans
-1C red beans
-2lb ground beef or turkey
-2 medium onion
-1t garlic
-3/4C red wine
-1/2C water or chicken stock
-1 can of tomato sauce
-1 can of crushed tomato
-3-4T chili seasoning (see recipe of chili seasoning below)
-salt to taste
*Sautee the onions in a pan on medium high with oil salt and pepper to taste. Once onions are translucent add ground beef and minced garlic. Drain the fat from the beef and return the meat to the pan. Add chili seasoning, wine, water or chicken stock, tomato sauce, crushed tomato and salt to taste. Mix and bring to a boil. Let it boil for 8-10 minutes and reduce heat to medium low and let simmer for 1-3 hours. Keep checking it to make sure it does't dry up!

**NOTE** I forgot to include the clip of me adding salt to the chili, the seasoning is saltless so make sure you add salt to your desired taste!

If you want to make this in the slow cooker over night then mix all the ingredients together and cook on low for 8 hours or overnight. Make sure you use the leanest meant you can find so it's not super greasy since you won't be able to drain the meat. Or you can add the ground beef already cooked to your crockpot :)
Unsalted Chili Seasoning
1.5T chili powder
1/4t cayenne (add less if you don’t want it sure spicy)
1/2T crushed red pepper
1T garlic powder
2t cumin
2t parsley
2T sugar
1/2t black pepper
*Store in an airtight container or bag. I don't use salt in the seasoning so I can salt the chili to my liking.
