Scientists at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) are beginning to study those Coronavirus infected patients who are without symptoms. Last month, ICMR head of epidemiology and communicable diseases Dr R R Gangakhedkar said that 69 per cent of total COVID-19 cases in India are asymptomatic. Does this make Coronavirus a silent attacker? Does this mean that the virus can spread without the knowledge of the patient?
