#7 Dutch Oven Cooking...FAIL

For the past 18 years we have always had a significant food storage. My wife shows us one of the recipes that she uses often. Most of the ingredients are at least 8 years old. She has cooked this many times in the oven. This is the first attempt using this recipe in our dutch oven.

Ingredients:
6 cups dried apples
1 cup flower
1 cup oats
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
