Chris Daughtry Talks New Album 'Dearly Beloved', Band's First Without a Major Record Label

Daughtry's new album Dearly Beloved, debuts Friday, Sept. 17. Frontman Chris Daughtry tells PopCulture.com what makes the album different from what the band has done in the past: first and foremost, it's the first Daughtry album without a major record label, something Daughtry says gave him more creative control. "It was the first time I was this hands-on," he said. "I didn't have all these different voices telling me, 'In order to get on the radio, you need to be doing this.'" #Daughtry #ChrisDaughtry
