Skills and Qualifications:

Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hand tools and perform precise repairs.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. 

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with trade school certification or vocational training often preferred, according to the National Network for the Transportation Workforce.
