A vederlo sembra quasi che l’edificio non si integri affatto con l’ambiente. Appena usciti dall’auto ci si rende conto del contrario. Vetrate, passerelle di legno, prati – una fontana che lo circonda.

All’ingresso un salotto con divani e parquet. Qui comincia la visita dell’azienda, che scopriamo è del tutto sostenibile.

Un ecosistema non produce rifiuti. Ogni cosa viene riciclata al suo interno, dice l’architetto Ken Yeang e anche Elisabetta Franchi è della stessa idea. Durante l’intervista, più volte ha sottolineato quanto sia importante restituire all’ambiente che ci circonda, e questo lo si riscontra anche da come appaiono gli interni della struttura.

Corridoi con pareti e pavimenti di legno. Un giardino zen, con spazi che l’azienda ha deciso di aprire anche agli animali.

Chi non ha mai posseduto un cane, non può sapere cosa significhi essere amato, affermava Schopenhauer, e qui si convive con questo sentimento. È scientificamente provato che lavorare in ufficio con un animale riduce lo stress – in Giappone adottano questa tecnica da anni – e la signora Franchi ha scelto di portarla anche in Italia e fare suoi i valori dell’ecosostenibilità e del rispetto per l’ambiente.

Anyone who has never owned a dog can’t know what loving and being loved mean, said Schopenhauer, and here you live with this feeling. It’s scientifically proved that working with an animal in the office lowers the stress level – in Japan they are using this technique since years – and Mrs. Franchi decided to bring this in Italy and make environmental sustainability and respect for animals her values.
