John Gielgud and James Mason in '11 Harrowhouse'

John Gielgud disliked making movies in his early career, preferring to act Shakespeare and other great roles on the stage. However, in his later life he often took small roles that amounted to cameo parts in such films as '11 Harrowhouse' where he plays the head of the Diamond Exchange in London. Here a disgruntled employee (James Mason) who knows he is dying of cancer, conceals himself in the vault overnight so to as to assist an American burglar (Charles Grodin) in stealing the entire stock of diamonds. In this scene (which also features Jack Watling, Peter Vaughan and Jack Watson) Gielgud discovers that all his diamonds are missing.
