Dissatisfied with modern society, Eustace Conway left home at 17 to live in a
tepee in the mountains of North Carolina. Hunting and gathering his own food for
survival, Eustace constantly pushed himself to confront the hardships of the
natural world through an ever increasing disconnect with modern America. His
journey helped him discover his ultimate goal, the creation of a wild land preserve
that could serve as an epicenter for cultural revolution and lead modern
Americans to a closer connection to the cycles of life and death.
