Pilatus undertook a month long demonstration tour of Australia in February/March 2010 with its PC-21 turboprop military trainer, a contender for the ADFs Project Air 5428 Pilot Training System program.

Australian Aviation's photographer Paul Sadler conducted and air-to-air photo shoot of PC-21 HB-HZD over Canberra capturing the aircraft with prominent landmarks of the nation's captial.
