Averitt Review and Information 2018

Video I made to provide information for anyone considering joining Averitt to work for. Topics include hiring process, trucks, divisions, compensation, home time, and more. Email me with any questions you may have since I turn comments off. Here are the latest compensation numbers as of 7/26/18:

Training pay - 800 per week you are with your trainer
Starting pay rate - 46 cents per mile
Topout pay - 50 cents per mile
Breakdown Pay - 14.00 per hour
Layover Pay (24 hours sitting which is rare), 200.00
Additional Stop pay - 100.00 per additional stop
Detention pay - 20.00 per hour after the 2nd hour
Bump pay aka double drop and hook - 10.00 (Dropping empty, pulling loaded trailer out of dock, putting empty into the slot you made, then leaving with the loaded trailer)
400 mile guarantee - Pays 400 miles for any load going from shipper to receiver that is less than 400 miles
800 mile guarantee - Same as 400 mile guarantee but this is for 2 days loads (pick up monday deliever wednesday for example). If its less than 800 miles, averitt will pay you 800 miles.
Vacation pay - 450 miles x your current pay rate for each day of your vacation.
LTL bonus - Pulling an overnight shuttle run from service center to service center - add 200.00 to your check + miles for the actual run.
