Last time we ranked the melee specs based on fun, and a LOT has changed since then. Between buffs, nerfs, hero talent updates, bug fixes and tuning passes, several ranged DPS specs feel completely different from how they did during the Midnight beta and even at the start of the expansion.
So today we're tackling the other half of the roster: the ranged DPS!

In this Most FUN Ranged DPS Tier List, we rank every ranged spec in World of Warcraft Midnight based on what actually makes a spec enjoyable to play. This isn't a DPS ranking and it isn't a meta tier list. Instead, we're looking at rotation design, class fantasy, talent diversity, hero talents, gameplay depth, spec identity, quality-of-life and that hard-to-explain feeling that makes you want to log in and play a spec again tomorrow.
