Mummy hurt her arm and missed Topsy and Tim's nursery school play, The Three Little Pigs but all is not lost. The twins have a surprise planned. They invite their nursery friends round and perform the play at home, especially for Mummy and Grandma, with Dad playing the part of one of the little pigs!

Mummy asks Topsy and Tim to sort their old toys. She wants the twins to give away the ones they don't use anymore before they move house. Tim doesn't want to give away any of his toys but when Mummy explains other children would love to play with them, he changes his mind and puts his old cars in the charity box. There's one car which Tim doesn't give away. He chooses to keep his favourite, old, flashing car until he hears about a younger boy who would love to have his toy.

Topsy and Tim is a series of children's books written by Jean Adamson and Gareth Adamson about twins and their adventures. They were first published in 1960 and were relaunched in new editions in February 2003
