Hi, my name is Lorna, and today I'm wearing the Sonica Tight from Mountain Equipment. These tights are really, really durable. They're made from soft shell fabric, so they're great if you're going hiking, going past brambles or hedges. They won't tear or pill, so they're much more durable and wearing than, for example, a gym legging. They've got some excellent features, so a really flattering, comfortable wide waistband. And also at the back, there's some extra elastication to give a perfect fit. There's also some really handy pockets, so you've got a small valuables pocket whilst also having a great pocket for your phone on the side. Inside, it has a really nice, slightly brushed backer, which just takes the chill off. So they're are great trouser for three seasons, even in winter. I would wear these with a base layer. I've had this pair for over three years and you can see they look as good as new. I've gone through lots of brambles, lots of scrambling, and they they don't they don't show any sign of wear. So the soft shell fabric is a very tight weave, which makes it really windproof, and it does have some slight water resistance to it. But the thick fabric makes it very, very durable and also flattering too. Can be used for a wide range of activities. Hiking and I've gone cycling, climbing and in winter I'd wear them with base layers, wear them around a ski resort as well. In really rainy conditions. Because they're a nice close fit. It's very easy to fit waterproof trousers over the top and then it makes a great layering system. So the trousers I'm wearing are a size ten. I'd normally be an eight to a ten and I am quite short at five foot, so they might be slightly shorter on somebody taller.
