In this 2022 Toyota Tacoma review, I will give you a tour of this best selling mid-size pickup. The Toyota Tacoma 2022 sees a few upgrades over the last model year. My test model is the 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, which is the more off-road focused version. The 2022 Tacoma continues on with two engine options including a 4-cylinder or a 3.5L V6 making 278-hp. You can still get it with a 6-speed manual transmission. But the question everyone's mind is when is Toyota redesigning the Tacoma?

Even though this continues to be one of Toyota's best-selling models, the current 3rd gen Tacoma is starting to show its age. The new Tacoma will most likely debut later this year and will go on sale next year. It will receive a lot of the updates we saw on the new Tundra. The 2023 Toyota Tacoma will most likely drop the current engine lineup and may even see the addition of a hybrid and a fully-electric version. For now, the Tacoma 2022 continues to carry the crown as the best-selling model in the segment. The 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro gets a few upgrades to make it an even tougher off-road beast.
