In today’s video, I’m sharing how I prepare my ADULT AUTISTIC DAUGHTER, Sydney, for travel and the things we’ve learned over the years that help make trips more successful and enjoyable for everyone. Travel days don’t just start at the airport. For our family, preparation begins long before we leave home.

From packing and routines to comfort items and setting expectations, these are the steps we take before every trip. Every autistic person is different, but I hope sharing our family’s experience helps other parents and caregivers feel more confident about traveling with their loved ones.

Whether we’re heading on a cruise, a Disney vacation, a weekend getaway, or a simple overnight trip, preparation has become one of the biggest keys to successful travel for our family.
