Farmers Outraged by New Tesco Advert for Meat Free Products | This Morning

There is a new Tesco advert telling the story of a child asking for her father to go meat free, to which he cooks a dish with meat free sausages. The girl then exclaims 'this is better than the original'. This has caused controversy, especially with farmers, due to the wording used in the advert. Farmer, Abi Reader states she believes the wording is unnecessary for a simple advert and feels it is a direct attack on her farming industry. On the contrary, vegan campaigner, Lucy joins Holly and Phillip to discuss her thoughts on the advert as she believe it is a mirror image of her childhood and the advert makes her feel warm and fuzzy inside.
