We are leaving Bogota for the last time to begin our exploration of the southern part of South America. Our first stop is Rio de Janiero, Brazil, where we are lucky enough to be staying at the Fairmont’s new Copacabana Beach hotel. The weather was really inconsistent, but we hoped it would cooperate with us, long enough to see the amazing views from the top of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Finally, we have a dining experience to remember at Lasai, which is listed on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurant list!
