Dairy farmer Fred Stone knew every cow in his herd — naming them “Moonbeam” and “Storm Chaser.” When his farm was discovered to be contaminated with forever chemicals, he was forced to euthanize nearly 80% of his cows, dump thousands of gallons of milk, and take on $1.5 million in debt in a desperate effort to save the farm his grandfather built.

As we expose in this new “Truth of the Matter” podcast episode with @natashazouves, Stone’s story is not an outlier — it’s a warning. The Environmental Working Group estimates nearly 70 million acres of U.S. cropland may be contaminated with forever chemicals, also known as PFAS.

In the full episode, Scott Faber with the Environmental Working Group outlines what you can do to protect yourself and your family, and to limit your exposure to these chemicals.
