Gas Flow Explained with Pork Slicing? Yes, Really

Can a pork slicer help explain gas flow measurement? In this video, we use a simple visual analogy to show how a vortex flowmeter works inside a gas evaporation monitoring system.

The system uses a double-layer glass heating tube to generate vapor. The vapor rises through the vortex flowmeter and then enters the condenser at the top. The vortex flowmeter monitors gas flow in real time and helps calculate the total evaporation volume during operation.

Just like a slicer divides pork into even sections, the sensor inside the vortex flowmeter detects repeated flow signals and converts them into flow rate and total gas volume.

TOPTION provides customizable lab and chemical equipment solutions for evaporation, condensation, reaction, and process monitoring applications.
