5th Annual Founder’s Day Celebration

Ward Village welcomed the community to celebrate our 5th Annual Founder’s Day at the new Victoria Ward Park Makai, named after our founding visionary Victoria Ward. This annual event featured a live music performance by Alx Kawakami, specialty food from Middle Eats, refreshments from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and an array of nature-based educational activities including:

- Interactive butterfly encounter with Sharing the Butterfly Experience
- Planting activity with Pono Minds
- Lei-making station with Nā Mea Hawaiʻi
- Art project with Trees for Honolulu’s Future
- Learn about Hawai‘i’s Birds from Hui Manu-o-Kū and Hawai‘i Audubon Society
- Calligraphy on plantable seed paper with EV Calligraphy
- Build your own flower bouquet with Blūme Ruhm
- Complimentary ticket to Foster Botanical Garden
