How to paint car front grill ( delete that chrome)

Rather than masking i felt its easy to take off the grill then i dont have to worry about covering the whole front of the car. I even further took the crome parts out from the acual grill.
It seems funny the way i am painting the grill but results will shock you the way it turned out.
After sanding with fine 400 grit sandpaper, i have used 2x back gloss paint and then 2x clear coat.
