Preloading two Angular Contact Bearings with Jam Nuts - Part of CNC Slide Forming Machine

Check out these preloading jam nuts for our CNC Slide Forming machine build! We wanted to showcase this preload design since we use it on other machines and it has served us quite well. Two nuts are used - one to apply preload to the bearing stack (bearings separated by a small shim) and one to back up and retain the preload nut from moving over time. Very simple design, not fancy at all, and gets the job done.
