Lorry driver in court over migrant deaths

The lorry driver accused of manslaughter after 39 bodies were found in a refrigerated trailer has appeared in court via video link.

Maurice "Mo" Robinson was remanded in custody until 25 November where he will appear at the Old Bailey for a further hearing.

The 25-year-old, of Craigavon, Northern Ireland, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court via video link - there was no application for bail.
