Install and start Apache NiFi on the Windows system.
Ensure that PostgreSQL is running and contains the required database table records.
Download and configure the PostgreSQL JDBC driver in Apache NiFi.
Open the NiFi web interface in the browser.
Add the QueryDatabaseTable processor to fetch records from the PostgreSQL database table.
Configure the database connection properties such as:
Database URL
Database name
Username
Password
JDBC Driver Class Name
Specify the table name from which records should be retrieved.
Configure the SQL query or column settings to fetch required table data.
Add the PutFile processor to store the fetched data into a folder.
Configure the destination folder path in the PutFile processor.
Connect the QueryDatabaseTable processor to the PutFile processor using the success relationship.
Start both processors to begin the data transfer process.
Apache NiFi retrieves records from PostgreSQL tables and writes the output files into the specified folder automatically.
The transferred data can be stored in formats such as:
CSV
JSON
Avro
Text files
