German Shepherd Off Leash Trail Training

This is a great example of training that is paying off. This is use of the phsycological leash. Even though he is in front me, I am leading the walk. He waits for me because I am his securtiy and stable source of energy. This type of training is based off trust, he trusts me and I am giving him enough trust to proceed within the box. It was our first hike.
He ended up walking rignt over a harmless 4 ft snake. I saw him jog over a thick black line and then as I walked up to it I noticed it was a snake that was laying out in the sun. It slithered back to his spot as I got real close.
