Marcus Langston used a magical book to alter his fate from a lowlife criminal to become a genius, armored superhero Sentinel and became the leader of Youngblood. Eventually, Marcus was revealed as a murderer when he killed Riptide and become a supervillain and formed a villainous Youngblood team called Badblood.
