Ripcord TV Show Promo Film & "The Skydiver" Unreleased Pilot 1961

Ivan Tors created the series which was produced by Ziv/UA lasted 2 years in syndication. It introduced skydiving to the public and starred Larry Pennell (Dash Riprock from the Beverly Hillbillies) and Ken Curtis (Festus from Gunsmoke). Paul Comi (Styles from Star Trek) is the pilot later replaced by Shug Fisher (Sons of the Pioneers, Ken Curtis was also in this group). Russell Johnson (the professor from Gilligan's Island also has a small part. Sky diving was done by Dave Burt and Para Ventures later by Lyle Cameron, Sr. and Skydiving, Inc. DVDs have just been released by TGG but this one is 40 minutes and was cut for airing. Enjoy!!!
