Printing tutorial - how to print A1 drawings on an A4 home printer

1. Use Adobe Acrobat to open the PDF. The free version will do the job.

2. Select 'Edit' from the titlebar menu
3. Scroll down to 'Take a Snaphot'
4. Look at the PDF drawing imagine there are three columns and three rows of A4 printer size paper.
5. Choose an area you wish to print.
6. Click and hold the left mouse button in the top left-hand corner of the section you wish to print. Drag your selection down to the bottom right-hand corner of your chosen area. Note - if you do not hold down the button the whole image will be selected.
7. The area will be highlighted in blue and a pop-up window appears confirming the selection.
8. Select 'File' from the title bar menu.
9. Scroll down to 'Print'
10. Ensure the following are selected:
'Selected Graphic' under 'More Options'
'Actual Size' under 'Page Sizing & Handling'
11. Under 'Page Setup' ensure you have A4 selected and choose your preferred page orientation.
12. Ensure you have your preferred printer selected from the drop-down menu.
13. Click 'Print'
