सीबीआय चौकशीत उघड झाले आहे की, नीटचा पेपर ५ राज्यांमध्ये विकला गेला होता. सर्वाधिक विक्री महाराष्ट्रात झाली आणि दुसऱ्या क्रमांकावर राजस्थान आहे. एजन्सीच्या अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले की, आतापर्यंत अटक केलेल्या आरोपींच्या चौकशीतून आणि डिजिटल गॅजेट्स तपासल्यानंतर ही माहिती समोर आली आहे.

सीबीआयचे म्हणणे आहे की, पुढील आरोपींच्या अटकेनंतर पेपरफुटीचे प्रकरण आणखी मोठे असू शकते. याच कारणामुळे एजन्सीला अजून हे निश्चित करता येत नाहीये की, किती विद्यार्थ्यांनी पेपर विकत घेतला होता. चौकशीत समोर आले आहे की, काही पालकांनी पेपर पुढे इतर लोकांना विकला होता.

सीबीआयला महाराष्ट्र आणि राजस्थानमध्ये पेपरच्या प्रती काढून विकल्याचे पुरावे मिळाले आहेत. याच कारणामुळे अजून हे शोधणे कठीण आहे की, पेपर किती लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचला. आतापर्यंतच्या चौकशीत समोर आले आहे की, पेपरफुटीचे सर्वात मोठे केंद्र महाराष्ट्र होते. इथूनच राजस्थान आणि इतर राज्यांमधील विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत ‘प्रश्न बँक’ पोहोचली.

CBI पैसे देणाऱ्यांची यादी बनवत आहे

आता केवळ पेपर फोडणारे दलाल आणि सूत्रधारच नव्हे, तर मोठी रक्कम देऊन पेपर विकत घेणारे प्रभावशाली पालकही केंद्रीय तपास यंत्रणांच्या थेट निशाण्यावर आहेत. तपास यंत्रणा आता त्या सर्व पालकांची यादी तयार करत आहे, ज्यांच्या बँक खात्यातून शिवराज मोटेगावकर, पी.व्ही. कुलकर्णी किंवा त्यांची सहकारी मनीषा वाघमारे (पुणे) यांच्या खात्यात पैसे हस्तांतरित झाले होते.

एजन्सीने पेपर लीक करणारे आणि ते विकणारे बहुतेक मोठे चेहरे उघड केले आहेत, परंतु नॅशनल टेस्टिंग एजन्सी (NTA) व्यतिरिक्त बाहेरील काही व्यक्ती अजूनही संशयाच्या घेऱ्यात आहेत. त्यांच्या विरोधात पुरावे गोळा करण्यासाठी एजन्सीच्या दोन टीम्स लागल्या आहेत.

तर, तीन टीम्स यापुढील साखळीतील म्हणजे पेपर खरेदी करणारे पालक आणि विद्यार्थ्यांची धरपकड करण्याची तयारी करत आहेत. बुधवार रात्री महाराष्ट्रातून याची सुरुवात झाली आहे आणि सीबीआय लवकरच इतर राज्यांमध्ये छापे टाकेल.

CBI investigations have revealed that the NEET question paper was sold across five states. The highest volume of sales occurred in Maharashtra, followed by Rajasthan. An agency official stated that this information emerged from the interrogation of the accused arrested so far, as well as from the forensic examination of digital devices.

The CBI maintains that the scope of the paper leak scandal could expand further following the arrest of additional suspects. Consequently, the agency is currently unable to ascertain the exact number of students who purchased the question paper. The investigation has also revealed that some parents subsequently resold the paper to other individuals.

The CBI has gathered evidence indicating that copies of the question paper were photocopied and sold in both Maharashtra and Rajasthan. For this reason, it remains difficult to determine the full extent of the paper's circulation and the total number of people it reached. The investigation conducted thus far suggests that Maharashtra served as the primary hub for the paper leak operation; it was from here that the 'question bank' was disseminated to students in Rajasthan and other states.

**CBI Compiling List of Payers**

Now, the direct focus of the central investigative agencies is not limited merely to the brokers and masterminds behind the leak, but also extends to influential parents who purchased the question paper by paying substantial sums of money. The investigative agencies are currently compiling a list of all parents whose bank accounts show transfers of funds to the accounts of Shivraj Motegaonkar, P.V. Kulkarni, or their associate, Manisha Waghmare (from Pune).

While the agency has identified most of the key figures involved in leaking and selling the paper, several individuals outside the National Testing Agency (NTA) remain under a cloud of suspicion. Two agency teams have been deployed specifically to gather evidence against these individuals.

Meanwhile, three other teams are preparing to apprehend the next link in the chain—namely, the parents and students who purchased the question paper. This phase of arrests commenced in Maharashtra on Wednesday night, and the CBI is expected to conduct raids in other states shortly.
