KIA Carnival 2022 NEW Cross VAN

The newest minivan in the United States to date. Kia Carnival, 2022 model year. Exactly so, and not otherwise. The name Sedona remains in the past, so much the better, no need to clarify. The model year is also understandable, the states always sell models from the future. Dealers received their first quotas. Having rummaged around on the KIA website, I found that the dealers received one or two cars each, in the form of the first batch. Some of the dealers offer three cars. The top version of the SX Prestige I only met once, but it was a long way to go, so today I inspected the hearty EX trim at my local dealer where I bought my white Kia Sedona.
So, before us is the 2022 Kia Carnival EX. Motor and transmission in the states have no alternative. It is an athospheric V6 with a displacement of 3.5 liters. It has 290 horsepower and is currently the most powerful minivan on the market. The box is just an automatic machine, a classic one with 8 steps. But, about small driving impressions a little later.
In total there will be, at first, 4 versions - LX, EX, SX, SX Prestige. Strange, but in the EX version of the Carnival there is no memory seat, and on the Sedona EX this option has been present since 2018. As usual, we were not allowed. There is also no other option that we love - all-round cameras. In general, I liked EX in appearance. Yes, no fog lights. But the wheels have a maximum radius of 19. The 8-seater version would suit me in the cabin, without otomanki and electric drive. But the lack of seat memory is a stop for me. I am used to it and do not want to refuse. 360 cameras - you can survive, but also better to have. There is no ventilation in the seats either, and this is logical, I rarely use this option. Black seats are also pleasant, and in general the color scheme of the interior is extremely pleasing to the eye.
