Many pro-Israel accounts – and even the official State of Israel account – claim they've spotted staged Palestinian "actors" faking suffering in the Gaza Strip, calling this "Pallywood". They point to one in particular, accusing a Gazan "on the ground" account of showing a local influencer posing as critically ill, before being seen in the street brandishing a gun or pretending to have lost his son. But these images are old and misrepresented out of context. Vedika Bahl explains in this edition of Truth or Fake.
