IVITY FLYING BRANDS in Stratosphere - Solar Eclipse 2015

On the 20th March 2015, against the meteo ods for bad weather in the Faroe islands and Svalbard - the 2 only possible locations do see totality - 2 Falcon 7X departed from Paris to chase the shadow of the moon over the north Atlantic. A flight in the base of stratosphere at 47000 ft where totality time was extended in 1'20", The expedition was led by Xavier Jubier, the best eclipse navigator in the world :-)
The first eclipse chasing flight was in 1973, when the prototype Concorde 001 crossed Africa, an historical flight organized by french astronomer Pierr Léna.
