How to Winterize Your Truckmount: Episode 1

Step-by-step instructions for protecting your valuable Prochem and Sapphire Scientific truckmounts in freezing weather. A few simple steps can help protect against thousands of dollars of damage to your truckmount and cleaning tools. This is the first episode in our series explaining how to winterize and de-winterize your Legend Brands truckmounts, cleaning tools and solution lines.

Here are the instructions outlined in the video:

1. Reduce solution pressure
2. Attach open-ended hose to solution outlet
3. Turn truckmount on
4. Turn solution pump on (water will then begin to flow)
5. Let water flow until sputtering out the hose
6. Turn solution pump off
7. Remove solution hose
8. Fill water box with 1-3 gallons of pure antifreeze
9. Attach winterization hose into water inlet and solution outlet
10. Turn solution pump back on and let it run for at least 3 minutes
11. Turn off solution pump, then truckmount
12. Remove winterization hose
