The Mandalorian Season 3 NEWS | Han Solo to APPEAR!, Ezra Bridger is Mando's Brother? & More!

The Mandalorian Season 2 is over and the Book of Boba Fett drops December 2021 with the Mandalorian Season 3 dropping in 2022, according to Jon Favreau!

In this Star Wars news update, we look at an exciting new rumor that Han Solo (either CGI or Deepfake Harrison Ford or Alden Ehrenreich) will appear in the Mandalorian Season 3. We also discuss Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni who are working on a new Star Wars holiday special set during the timeline of the Mandalorian. Season 3 of the live-action Star Wars, Lucasfilm and Disney+ show drops in 2022 on the streaming service. Also, we talk about how Ezra Bridger could possibly be the brother of Din Djarin (Mando - Pedro Pascal). After Nevarro when the Children of the Watch saved Mando, his parents may have headed to Lothal - Ezra's planet that we saw in Star Wars: Rebels.

Where is the Mandalorian Season 3 going to take us now that Grogu (Baby Yoda - the Child) is with Luke Skywalker as we saw during the Mandalorian Season 2 finale (Chapter 16) and Din Djarin must face off against Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff). With Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) imprisoned by the New Republic after being captured by Cara Dune (Gina Carano), Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks) and the rest of our heroes, another big bad of the Imperial Remnant will likely continue the cloning project that will lead to Snoke and Palpatine as we saw during the sequel trilogy. With rumors that Grand Admiral Thrawn will make an appearance, we are in for quite an amazing season.

The third season of the Lucasfilm, Star Wars and Disney+ series drops next year and with other upcoming projects in the works, this is such an amazing time to be a Star Wars fan. Rangers of the New Republic, Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson's character), Obi-Wan Kenobi, Lando, Andor and others will all be the future of the Star Wars franchise as announced by Kathleen Kennedy during Disney Investor Day 2020.

Where will Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, Peyton Reed and even George Lucas take us next for The Mandalorian Season 3? It is believed that Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) will try to kill Mando (Din Djarin - Pedro Pascal) for the Darksaber to retake her planet Mandalore. This will be the first time we see Mandalore in live-action after it appeared in Star Wars Rebels and the Clone Wars. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau will be writing the story arc for Grogu (Baby Yoda) and Din Djarin and how they might end up together again. We may even see The Armorer (Emily Swallow), Mayfeld (Bill Burr), Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks), the Nite Owls and perhaps even live-action Ezra Bridger and/or Sabine Wren. Some Star Wars fans believe we could also see Mace Windu. Star Wars Theory and other youtubers have theorized this idea for a long time.

With Temuera Morrison reprising the role of Boba Fett (while also being involved in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series) and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand in the Book of Boba Fett, we have so much to look forward to!
